Bottom line? .Gov is huge. H.U.G.E.
And growing.
The largest employer in the nation.
With underfunded Cadillac Pensions.
.Gov is doing all kinds of things that they've got no business doing.
The things that .Gov should be doing, it neglects and/or does it poorly.
The book details numerous examples with citations.
All of the above is common knowledge and easily admitted by any pol in front of a camera, while he or she vigorously points their finger across the aisle.
The difficulty lies in reaching agreement on whose ox gets gored.
Up to the point that it all collapses under its own weight.
